HISTORY
Our founder, Cees Boon, began his journey to Nutrigaard when Royal Wessanen BV Holland re-located him to the U.S. and tapped him to build a specialty fats and oils business called Friwessa for the U.S. market. Royal Wessanen sold Friwessa in 1990, and Mr. Boon continued as an Independent contractor. Then, in 2002, he formed Nutrigaard LLC to create joint ventures with foreign partners. Since then, Nutrigaard has managed a number of global ingredient suppliers and helped them establish their own identity in the US.Today Nutrigaard serves as the distributor, manager, and sales and marketing arm of a number of specialty ingredients producers, primarily in the confectionery, food and nutraceutical industries.
